Would you rather...

The moment I was cleared after Lucy was born, I started running. It was the only way to lose the weight. Or so I thought. I was running 3 miles every other day for 2 1/2 months. But November came and with it the rain. I don't have a treadmill so the running kind of... stopped. I ran once in November. Then December came, and well, it was really COLD. I ran once. With December came Christmas and with it came all the tasty cookies and candy. I didn't really diet. Okay, in all honestly I didn't diet at all. I completely let myself eat whatever I wanted. I couldn't help myself. I love chocolate and it was in too much abundance.

To my surprise my pants kept getting bigger. Against my better judgement I weighed myself this morning. I had lost 10 pounds. What? Wait, I had basically been a lazy piece of crap the last 2 months and I lost 10 pounds and a pant size? Awesome. I did come to the realization that a lot of my muscle tone had turned to tub. But it's a tradeoff I guess...

So here's my question...

Would you rather be a flabby thin person or a more toned bigger person?

Like I always say, I am not a runner. Unless a bear is chasing me . . . which almost never happens. So my answer is thin and flabby is my look. Also I wanted to remind you that you are nursing. And that's basically like a tube that transfers your fat in to Lu. So thank you Lu Lu!

Thin and flabby for now. It's easier to tone later, I just want to fit into my clothes.

Yeah. Um, I'd honestly rather NOT be flabby. I want to be toned SO badly i can't even see straight. I wish i could just do nothing and lose and I surely would. But me doing nothing and eating what i wanted resulted in me gaining 7lbs over the stupid holidays. No bueno! But also since the belly area isn't your "problem" area [gag] it's really whatever YOU feel most comfortable at. If you're ok with thin and flabby (although i wouldn't call you flabby AT ALL) then rock it! If you are at a healthy weight and fit in your clothes and are happy, then it's all good, right? Then you might change your mind in a couple months, so switch it up and get back in the grind of working out.

More toned bigger person!!! Because, eventually, you shrink along with excess babyweight! And before you know it, it will be spring! And you don't really want to sport muffin top over your shorts!!! =) And on a selfish note, it would be fun to together and run a race!!! ;)

Alright hold up. No one said anything about a muffin top! In all honesty I refuse to wear clothes that make any part of my body bulge out. I suppose I could fit into pants two sizes smaller but that's gross. I have never had a problem getting my tummy flat and I wouldn't consider myself tubby, I am just softer than I have been in the past.
