Spencer has gotten a cold maybe 2 times in his short 3 1/2 years on this planet where it HASN'T turned into pneumonia/bronchiolitis. We're talking about in insane amount of lung infections. It's miserable.
Or at least that's what one would think right?When your baby is sick, it's the saddest thing in the world. The coughing, the snot and puppy dog eyes.
SAD! EXCEPT when your baby turns into a toddler that no longer wants to just sit in mommy's lap when they are sick. Instead, he wants to run around, make himself cough even more AND to top it all off, repeats the following phrase every 3 minutes: "I need a tissue!"I love my boy, I feel terrible when he's sick, but if I hear him whine, "I need a tissue" again in the next 5 minutes, I'm going to put in my 2 weeks notice. Done.
Good thing he went to bed already.

I have given my two weeks notice too many times to count. No one ever seems to listen. Kinda pathetic really. ;)

Katelyn has asthema too. She had a 103 degree temp last night, with that she started breathing super fast, non-stop coughing, then finally threw up all over herself and my bed. NICE! I wish that this cough would go away!
hello...i follow your blog through Twitter. I really enjoy it. I can sympathize with the bronchitis and sinus infections running rampant through my house as well. I too spent YEARS on asthma medications and allergy shots. Now I have passed this on to my own children. My youngest, age 2, caught RSV at 4 months and has many breatihing treatments for his young age! Hope they are feeling better soon.
p.s. how did you get your 3 1/2 to "wipe his own bum" my 4 year old walks out of the bathroom with underware and jeans at his ankles and says i'm done! UGH
csaddler... You are hilarious. My husband and I laughed out loud about your son. Come to think of it, I'm not quite sure how we got him to do it. I think at some point we just said, you need to wipe your bum. We got him the flushable wet wipes and told him to hold it in the middle and wipe off the poopy.
As for the asthmatics, it's awful isn't it? Being one yourself makes it even sadder for you kids because you know exactly how miserable they are.
Thanks for the tip on the flushable wipes! My 4 year old is a crack up. He's always doing crazy stuff. I hope the colds are getting better. My youngest just started up with his cough last night. It's been very windy and hot here lately so I guess the allergies are going to kick in now.
